The Yogi of supreme vision who generated the aspiration of the Three Mandalas for Peace on Earth.
Lama Dawa, was the way his “Dharma friends” adressed him. Always close and familiar, Rinpoche aroused respect and admiration in us his students hearts and minds; not by imposition, but by listening and observing him. Congruent, powerful and with great clarity, Lama Dawa showed us The Way.
Descendant of a family of practitioners within the Nagpa tradition, who studied under the tutelage of the great masters Dudjom Rinpoche, Dylgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Kunzang Dorje Rinpoche. Through his meditation and study, Lama Dawa developed the achievement of Mirror Divination; a method of divination through which he developed supreme understanding which he dedicated to the benefit of countless beings.
Due to this capacity for perception, the many prophecies that foresee critical situations, and the abundant signs of social and environmental deterioration, Lama Dawa Rinpoche left clear instructions on the importance of establishing Three Vajrakilaya Mandalas, among which is the Peace Mandala Mexico, related to the energy of fire, and which must be located in the lands surrounding Popocatépetl Volcano.
Lama Dawa Rinpoche dedicated his life to the practice, study and dissemination of the Dharma following the Ngakpa tradition of Tantric Buddhism; he established the P’hurba Thinley Ling Retreat Center in Iowa, USA, as well as the Rigzin Osel Ling and Duddul Namgyal Ling buddhist centers for study and practice in Mexico. In November 2017 He passed away in Nepal; now days, his teachings continues dispelling ignorance in us his students, “just as the moon dispels the darkness of the night” (excerpt from his long life prayer).
